I have several very good dot mobi domains for sale. What are good and reliable places to sell them?

Top Level Domain .mobi? That is already shady.

Easy. What they do is setup an account that waits for a given URL to be freed up and then they buy it when it's available. Then you get some shitty website that has nothing to do with the original URL. And they wait until someone wants it and asks for it. And they say it's for sale. So instead of a good URL being able to be used for something related, it's grabbed and put up for sale for some ridiculous amount.
Also, sometimes when a big company is about to put up a website, URLs that are similar or what people think might be being used are all grabbed and then offered up for sale. These are just sleazy practices. Would you want to pay say $1,000 for a URL? I once inquired into a URL used bu a once popular Internet radio station and was told the cost was $1,000. Someone else does the work to make the URL mean something and someone else tries to make a bundle on it. That's just wrong. |

Using custom TLD (Top Level Domains) is the problem. Only the approved TLDs are guaranteed to be handled worldwide. So he is trying to sell something of very limited use.

And he has not even said what these domains are in full. Anyway, I think this is all just silly. Why sell domains that nobody wants?

Just to be on the safe side we grabbed mobileread.mobi on the day it became available. Not that it is of any practical use yet.
