calibre 7.16 not installing
I am a user of calibre for many years. Recently my windows hard disk had a problem and accordingly it was renewed new OS installed and working fine. When I tried to install Calibre 7.16 I had encountered an error 2502 and 2503 and unable to install. however portable edition 7.16 is installed and working .Can you suggest a way to install calibre main?.thank you

Errors 2502 and 2503 are from the Windows installer service. Either the uninstall files for the old version can't be found or it is unable to access/use the temp file directory. To see if it is permissions on the temp directrory, you could try running the installer as administrator to see if that will work.
To install the msi file as an administrator and assuming the downloaded file is in your Downloads directory, open a command prompt as administrator, and type: Code:
msiexec /i "\Users\%username%\Downloads\calibre-64bit-7.16.0.msi" |
