One of the few mystery novels by Mr. Bedford-Jones (1887-1949) available on the internet. This is a tale of armed robbery and murder in New Orleans. Another epub version is available from archive.org but this MR epub is taken from the image pdf of Google Books.

Thanks for this, Bob. I've never heard of Bedford-Jones before, so I looked him up at Wikipedia. Having grown up in New Orleans, I'll give this one a try.
