Batteries Plus
Here is a resource for all forum members. There is a store in my area called Batteries Plus, they store makes it their business to know everything about batteries. If it runs on batteries we got it - that's their slogan. They do business on the internet at http://www.batteriesplus.com/.
And yes they have batteries for ereaders and they will send them anywhere you need them. http://www.batteriesplus.com/manufac...r-Battery.aspx |

I've been to Batteries Plus before for various things. Always had a good experience there.

They vary greatly by store. I've been to some that have very pleasant and helpful staff, and one that had someone who ticked me off so much (and over a watch battery, of all things) that I didn't go near their stores for several years. It takes a lot to annoy me that much. Also, they tend to have high prices. They're sort of a convenience store for batteries. But when you have 10 minutes and need to have a weird battery now (which happened to me a few months ago) there's nowhere else that can beat their selection.

One real advantage that small devices have is that their batteries are something easy
to ship, so they can be sold over the internet. These guys have a great reputation among camera buffs, RC modelers, and now us Jetbook Lite owners: http://thomasdistributing.com/ Luck; Ken |

Batteries Plus is a good company, but they're awfully high priced. If you do a little looking around you can find more common batteries a lot cheaper. Where Batteries Plus excels is when you need to get hard to find batteries. Those guys at BP really do a bangup job getting the hard to find stuff.
