Help extracting Caecilia Condensed
I'm not able to find Caecilia Condensed anywhere on the web. My understanding is that it can be extracted from the firmware images, but I can't seem to mount the IMG on my Mac to be able to browse the contents. Could anyone share these font files?

I don't think the tool for unpacking the Kindle upgrade file is available in a Mac version.

Well color me shocked! I compiled the version I'm using from the GitHub source and instructions and never noticed that pre-compiled versions were available. Heck, I missed the mention of compiling for OSX in the compiling instructions.

I am afraid the Condensed version is artificially rendered on the fly. That’s what I remember from NiLuJe’s Font Hack (in Snapshots)

That may have been the case with older Kindles, newer Kindles have the condensed font version.

Caecilia is an evolution of Courier, so you may look at that family for replacement. Vast majority of them are freeware.
