How Do You Request Books from eBookwise
I have some favorites that I really want to buy as eBooks for my eb1150. I've seen them in other eBook formats but the eBookwise site doesn't have them. Does anyone know a way to request a particular book from eBookwise?

The best way I know of is to go to www.fictionwise.com (the parent of ebookwise.com and click on the help in the top right corner of the page. From there in the left side of the screen under "How Fictionwise Works" select "Online Database: Contact Customer Support" This brings up a screen with a drop down box with a tag of "Topic" Select "Suggestions and Feedback" When the "Get More Help" button pops up click it and you will have a form to submit your requests to them.
When I have used it they have responded within a day or two (except weekends.) They are very responsive. |

You could always buy the LIT version, and convert to IMP format yourself. Many people do such things.

And if you want a PD book then you could always post a request on this forum.

Thanks to all for your help. I keep adding (and reading books) to the 1150. It becomes addictive. I tend to tire of a single book and switch to non-fiction or poetry and back again.
BTW: At the risk of sounding dumb, what's a PD book and how would I request one? |

Of course, if the book is in the public domain, the best thing you can do is convert it yourself!
