Kindle Scribe - Cover thumbnail size wrong after update
Scribe 5.16.9, calibre 7.12

Cover thumbnail size for new books added after the update are showing in square ratio, see attached screenshot of books prior to update and the one after (Sevice Model),

Is there something I should be doing?

That looks like an Audio Book cover. (Notice there is no distortion of text or round objects)

It does doesnt it but its definitely a book cover exactly the same size as the others when transferred.

I checked the thumbnail size on the device (500 x 500), I resized to the size of the others (375 x 500) which worked until I plugged it back into calibre where it resized it back again.

Note that all of the covers in amazon-covers-bug (7.12) are square, so the next sync turns all the rectangular covers into squares. Do not know if the fix addresses this.

You need to resend the book to get updated covers. The fix only applies to newly sent books after the version fo calibre with the fix is released.
