Stoker, Bram: Under the Sunset, v.1.
Best known for his seminal novel "Dracula", and to a lesser extent for "The Lair of the White Worm", Bram Stoker was essentialy a fantasy writer. One of his earliest books was this collection of eight fairy stories-- although, like "Grimms' Fairy Tales" and the works of Hans Christian Anderson, fairies as such do not appear.
"The Shadow Builder" was made into a feature film in the 1980s. The cover is a re-creation of the original, using the embossed text of an original. It also had an embossed gold border between the two red ones which I was unable to reproduce.
