Calibre pc to ipad calibre companion

Hi all
Been using calibre fine for two years now no problem , ebooks on pc send to iPad then kindle that way goes to phone app perfect .All of a sudden pc and iPad won’t connect (same op address and port ) what’s happened can anyone please help been playing about for hours our of my mind

I started to have the same problem with my iPad Pro (10.5 inch) updated to IOS 17.6.1. Have been using CC for several years. I also have an iPhone 12 Pro running IOS 17.6.1 that connects as wireless device with no problem. When the iPhone starts to connect with Calibre, the dialog always says Searching For Calibre and then connects. The iPad always starts out with the message Starting Initial Sync and then briefly shows Searching For Calibre before the error dialog Could not find calibre appears. Need some help here.

Same. Used for years (windows laptop to ipad)but not for past 5/6 months until today.
Exact same problems as above.

Did either of you get to bottom of issue?

Is this programme just dead now?

Fixed it and kicking myself.
Changed router couple months back which changed IP address.

I just had to update this within CC settings on my ipad.

Solved problem by switching to Calibre Sync from Apple App Store. Much slicker interface and easier to sync just by clicking on Sync icon at top of screen. Did run into the IP address switch problem when I had to reboot my cable modem, but it's an easy fix.
