Halloween Avatars
It's October, and the 13th seems an appropriate day to start sorting out Halloween avatar costumes.
I've just taken mine out of the cupboard and brushed it down — as good as new. So: search your wardrobes for an appropriate costume, and post your avatar in this thread. (Please add your costumed avatar as an attachment to your post, so that it will remain visible even after you take it off after Halloween!) Last edited by pdurrant; 10-14-2013 at 04:25 AM. |

I have no photoshop skills, so I had to find something online.
By the way, my favorite (and very old) photo manipulation software doesn't work on Windows 7 (it's an old copy of Micrografx Picture Publisher). I haven't found anything relatively inexpensive that easily does what I want. There was a lot PP did, but I only used it for the simplest editing. If anyone has any suggestions for something fairly simple and inexpensive that works on Win7, I'd love to hear them. (And I'd prefer not to buy into Adobe's cloud). Naval Officer Ducreux
The good moqueur often painted himself in costume, so I shall be a Naval Officer for the duration.
