Where on the Kobo Arc do we find notifications?

Top bar. Swipe down from it to drag the notifications open and then swipe away any notifications you want to get rid of (because that is somehow easier than tapping once with your right thumb on the big bar at the bottom and then tapping the X next to a notification to clear it as we did under ICS when such things were laid out sensibly). And if there's a way to toggle notifications off under Jelly Bean, I've yet to see it. :/

I notice that under settings there is the option to disable notifications for each individual app. I actually find that quite handy-dandy. I don't recall that feature before Jellybean.

Yeah, but you have to turn each app's notifications off and on one-by-one. No global toggle like there was when you double-tapped the notifications bar under ICS. VERY inconvenient.

Many Thanks

As a Vox fan and my wife owning a Arc when "little" things pop up like the notifications on each device, the Vox always seems the more intuitive. Why the 3 buttons below the screen on the Vox where not carried over into the Arc is beyond me. Many thanks to those who showed us how to swipe the notations down and wipe them away, who would have guessed.
