Neoreader Compatibility

Hey everyone, quick question about Neoreader's compatibility with PC pdf readers --

When I make comments on pdfs using pdf readers on my PC, I'm unable to see these comments when I import the pdfs onto my Max Lumi and view them in Neoreader. I've tried opening pdfs I've previously annotated in Adobe Acrobat and PDF-XChange Editor, and I encounter the same problem with both. The little comment bubbles appear when I open the pdfs in Neoreader, but I'm unable to tap them to see the comments. In fact, when I try to tap them, Neoreader advances to the next page, which is kind of strange. Highlights made in these programs show up normally.

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem, or which (if any) PC pdf readers make comments that are viewable on Neoreader? Thanks!
