New Firmware and pdfs with german umlauts

Hello,
tried the new firmware for the reader, pdfs in generall are looking very nice, the only thing is all letters with german umlauts are missing .
Any suggestions ?

Sounds like you have a PDF which doesn't have all its fonts embedded. If you're a UNIXy sort of hominid, running the file through pdf2ps then back through ps2pdf might fix the issue.

Thanks for your hint, I will try this .
And your are right its not a generell problem, another pdf works, so I am happy .
