Sweeney Todd is a character who first appeared as one of the protagonists of a penny dreadful serial entitled The String of Pearls (1846-1847). Claims that Sweeney Todd was a real person are strongly disputed by scholars, although there are possible legendary prototypes, arguably making the story of Sweeney Todd an example of an urban legend.
In the original version of the tale he is a barber who murders wealthy customers by pulling a lever while they are in his barber chair which, unknown to them, is fixed to a revolving trap-door, making them fall backward into the basement, generally causing them to break their necks or skulls as they hit the ground. Just in case they are alive, he goes to the basement and "polishes them off", meaning he slits their throats with a cut-throat razor. After Todd has robbed his dead victims of their goods, Mrs. Lovett, his partner in crime (in some later versions, his friend who wants to become his lover), assists him in disposing of the bodies by having their flesh baked into meat pies, and selling them to the unsuspecting customers of her pie shop. Todd's barber shop is situated at 186 Fleet Street, London, next to St. Dunstan's church, and is connected to Mrs. Lovett's pie shop in nearby Bell Yard by means of an underground passage.
The tale surrounding the character became a staple of Victorian melodrama, and later a Tony award-winning Broadway musical in 1979. Sweeney Todd has also been featured in several films, the most recent being based on the musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), directed by Tim Burton, with Johnny Depp in the title role.

crutledge, thank you much for Sweeny Todd. But,it has a few things that I hope you will see to fixing.

The first is that em dahses have been converted to dashes. Thi sis easily fixed by installing the Book Cleaner files over at https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11649

The second that I've noticed is that you are using the default style of bold for the base font. This is a bit distracting and if the book actually has bold text, you'll never notice it. This is fixed easily in the make LRF dialog box.

One other thing that is I feel you don't actually need a header as we should already know what it is we are reading.

But in order to fix the em dahses, I'm afraid that once you have Book Cleaner properly set-up, you'll need to reload from your source and redo any edits you've done because once the em dashes are messed up like they are, the only way to fix them is to hand fix them.

And if the source file you started with is text, convert it to RTF and then load it in as Book Designer has a bug that sometimes text files can have paragraphs split impoperly. So the best formats to load are RTF or HTML.

Thanks for pointing out the mdash. I have been trying to overcome a problem with BD and reinstalled then completely forgot bcf 1 & 2. I will redo Sweeney Tod. I am now using Calibre and Mobi2IMP soI hope it cures the problems you mention. I don't see any headers in the LRF files in Calibre.

Perhaps you can help me. My BD no longer saves to the last file folder. It saves in a temp folder and sometimes more than one. I have to use date and time to find the last save. This undermines trust in the tool.

Also the Font and HTML fragment editor always wind up under the main screen.

Do you know anyone at the developer whom I may email to get an answer on the Last File problem?
