Indeed.
Depends on the circumstances here. Problem: If it relates to a small boy in potentially dangerous surroundings, the meaning could be "Please watch over him." (But one would rather say "Pass mal (bitte) auf ihn auf!") If it relates to a person with ill intend, the meaning could be "Take care, that guy could try to harm you!"
