Schnarchalarm bei buch.de
Habe seit längerer Zeit mal wieder ein ebook bei buch.de gekauft und dieselbe Erfahrung gemacht wie beim letzten Mal (und deretwegen ich den Laden seitdem gemieden habe): Es dauerte anderthalb Stunden (diesmal, es ging auch schon länger), bis ich mein Buch runterladen konnte. So lange wartete man dort angeblich noch auf die Zahlungsbestätigung von Paypal, die ich, wie üblich, in Sekundenschnelle in meinem Posteingang hatte.

Ziemlich lahm, das. Habt ihr ähnliche Erfahrungen mit buch.de? Sind andere deutsche Buchhändler schneller?

Eigentlich standen mir die Bücher immer fast sofort zur Verfügung. Mein bevorzugter epub-Händler ist ebook.de (früher libri), aber auch bei Thalia standen mir kostenlose Exemplare immer sofort zur Verfügung und da soll ja buch.de der "Betreiber" sein.

Vielleicht liegt das am Paypal, ich zahle bei ebook.de per Lastschrift.

Da ich fast nur englische ebooks kaufe, shoppe ich normalerweise bei Kobo. Dort zahle ich auch mit Paypal und kann immer sofort runterladen. Und da ich meine Bestätigung von Paypal sofort hatte, muss das Problem bei buch.de liegen - vielleicht in deren Umgang mit Paypal.

Werde mal ebook.de testen.

Kommt zwar reichlich spät, aber ich kann die Erfahrungen von Hamlok nur bestätigen: Mit Lastschrift kann ich immer sofort downloaden.

Danke für die Auskunft. Da muss buch.de eindeutig was bei der Paypal-Bearbeitung ändern, wenn sie mich als Kunden behalten wollen. Das deutschsprachige Angebot bei Kobo wird auch immer besser...
