Plato compatibility with Libra Colour?
What is the current compatibility of Plato with the Libra Colour and Clara Colour?
I can't find any specific info on the compatibility, even on the developer's GitHub. Also, given the current state of KOReader, I don't want to use the one-click installer to install BOTH KOReader and Plato. Is there a standalone installer for Plato only? Lastly, if it is compatible, is there any major advantage of Plato over the default reader in Libra Colour in reading PDF? Am I correct that since Libra Colour supports annotating with a stylus, the annotation on a PDF can be saved with the PDF and then exported with annotation marks embedded inside the PDF (unlike ePub) like any other annotation software? |

You can use the one-click installer for KOReader and then just copy over the KOReader folder from the latest nightly and it works perfectly. I can't speak for Plato but there is nothing wrong with KOReader right now.

Just found this...
https://github.com/baskerville/plato/issues/364 According to developer (posted just yesterday), the current version (OCP-Plato-0.9.42) does not work on Libra Color. User reports that install will cause device to freeze requiring a hard reboot. |

Confirming that Plato 0.9.42 also freezes Kobo Clara Colour devices.

Or using the current Plato version 0.9.43, that will work on the Clara BW but not on the Libra Colour or Clara Colour.
As for compatibility? The Plato supported devices list seems to be up to date since it shows the Clara BW. |
