WinXP handhelds???

Ah...I just love being the first post in a new forum category!

I have been having some thoughts about the future of PocketPC (and possibly Palm for that matter) when I keep seeing laptops getting smaller and smaller. Look at the device at www.oqo.com. Who will want a PocketPC or Palm when you can carry a full version of WinXP Tablet version in your pocket? Sure, they have to work on the 'always on' part and screen size will be an issue but....

There was a recent thread over on www.pocketpcthoughts.com about this. Many rabid PPC users feel that M$ is orphaning the PPC in deference to Phone Edition and Tablet PC. It is true that the PPC OS has not seen any *significant* upgrades over the last few years.

Anyone have any thoughts about this?
