Samsung introduces color 14.3" E-paper
But apparantly samsung has been working on a carbon nanotubes based colored epaper. A different concept than eink, but certainly good that there are more techniques in the horizon

Hmm, there may be subtle differences to make the existing eInk patent unmatching to this technologie. But as noob in this techs "Electrophoresis" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrophoresis ) looks to me just like how eInk works.

My science isn't fantastic but I thought that electrophoresis was used in many applications where 'ink' was needed - in photocopiers, laser printers, etc. I think a patent which uses electrophoresis in a different way to eInk would still be valid (but that's just my uneducated opinion ).
