Feature request
Wouldn't it be nice if you could choose to double-click on a LRF, epub or mobi file under GNOME, Windows or OS X and it opened the document in Calibre?

Hmm maybe. Personally, I hate programs that automatically setup file associations. In windows I suppose I could make it an option in the installer. On linux and OS X it's more problematic.

You can set up your own file associations on you OS. Personally, I prefer if the installer would not set these up. Or at least make it optional.

I found that under Ubuntu and it was easy to setup LRF associations with the viewer, but not so easy to setup lrf, epub and mobi to load calibre (calibre doesn't appear in the list of applications that can handle file associations).

You can always specify the path to the executable if it doesn't appear in the list (/usr/bin/calibre)
