New and looking for help reb 1100
Hi
I have lurked on this site for all kinds of info. I purchase and now use a ebookwise because of this site. Now i have purchased a use RCA REB1100 (used) but I should have done more research on this ebook reader. I can not for the life of me figure out how to get books on the thing via usb / it has the past owners books and modem and credit card info on it! I can't wipe that either. I am afraid I may have bought a ereader and am stuck with the books on it. I can't seem to get my computer to see the ebook reader. I believe I am missing some divers. It has no sd card UGH! I love reading, both my kids love reading and we read copyright free stuff. I love the ebookwise because it can be read in the dark. (unlike the new ereaders) I am computer limited / I needs to be plain and simple. Thanks guys I hope to share info as I learn as well. k |

Hi, kboot and welcome to MR.
I did see some information in the Legacy E-book devices forum. You may want to check out the information in the threads there. I also saw that some threads did have REB 1100 information mixed in. REB User's Guide Version 1 (at the bottom of the page) from the MR Wiki page on the RED 1100 Plus it also lists the REB for Dummies I hope some of this helps you find the information you are seeking. |

Good to have your company, Kboot. I'm sure someone who understands and has overcome your problem will chip in soon. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
