Order of precedence for meta-data sources

How is the order of precedence for the various meta-data sources, i.e. google, amazon, goodread etc handled when (bulk) downloading meta-data?

E.g. you have 3 sources activated and all 3 sources return author and title information. Which source has priority?

And more important, is there a way to control this? I, for example would prefer Amazon as the leading source but in case Amazon returns no results my second priority would be google etc.

I believe, you can change the number in the second column in the customization

results are not used from indivdual sources, instead they are merged on a field by field basis. The only way to customize that process is to edit the source code.

You can ofcourse, have results from only one source, in which case no merging happens.

Thanks for clarification.
I was playing around with the new "localized" Amazon and noticed that one some books, when no ISBN is available and multiple meta-data sources turned on I get an English description although a German would be available also.
In any case I would prefer an English description over no description, so that's why I asked if there is a way to set the priority.
