Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528) was a german painter and printmaker. He is considered as one of the most important figures of the Northern Renaissance and his works are exhibited in the main art museums, like the British Museum, El Prado, Le Louvre, the National Gallery, the Galleria degli Uffizi, etc.

With his woodcuts he revolutionized the potential of this medium. I'm showing uploading here his four woodcut series, of Biblical theme, in two volumes.

This second volume contains the "Large Passion", 11 plates, and the "Small Passion", 36 plates, both published in 1511. Their names refer to the size of the woodcuts. The images are taken from the Web Gallery of Art and the Harvard
University Art Museums. I've included thumbnails in the TOC and a gallery of miniatures.
