Reset /dev/input/event1

Hello,

I'm currently playing with the /dev/input/event1 in shell scripting. Everything seems to work fine however after starting en stopping koreader it does not anymore. The input device is in an altered state and overly responsive to my touch input. Resulting in multiple presses registered where only one is asked.

Is there any way to reset the /dev/input/event1 ?

Device: Kobo Aura HD

I always wanted one of those

But I seemed to have solved the problem by using head instead of dd to read out /dev/input/event1 . Why dd does that still is a mystery though.

Yay!
