Thread Naming Convention

When uploading a book to this forum, please following this naming convention:

Author: Title. Format. Date

Eg,

Conan Doyle, Sir Arthur: The Hound of the Baskervilles. PDF. 18 Aug 2007

The "index" does not work correctly unless all uploads use the same naming convention.

Harry, I like your suggestion; however, on PDF files we might need additional information (I would want additional information) about the size of the output page. Is it A4 or letter, sized for the iLiad or the Sony?

By all means say "PDF/A4" or something, if you wish. PDF is the only format for which the page size has any importance. The important thing is that the format is clear, consistent, and unambiguous. One can always provide additional information in the post body.

Actually harry page (well screen) size is important for LRF too.

But LRF files belong in the "BBeB" forum section, hence that is of no relevance for naming of files here

What naming convention should i use for ebooks in another language? Additionally i'm missing a version information in the current naming convention.
Could we please use something like: Author: Title. [Language.] Version. Format. Date, eg. Anet, Claude: Ende einer Welt. german. v1. LIT. 24 Feb 2009?
