This collection of short stories written for young teens centers on a theme of courage and heroism. The young heroes of these stories sometimes display physical bravery, but most often, they have moral courage – they make the difficult choice to “do the right thing.” Touches of fantasy and generous helpings of humor keep the tone light-hearted, rather than moralistic.
