Removing books from Calibre DB
Sometimes I add a book in ZIP or .lit format. Most of these convert to ePub with no problem, but sometimes the conversion fails - not once but repeatedly on that particular file. I would like to remove the title from Calibre WITHOUT deleting the original file from my computer. How do I do this?
(In other words, I don't want titles showing in Calibre if I can't actually put them on my Reader. But since I may be able to open them with something else in the future, I don't want to delete the file entirely, just get it out of Calibre.) |

That said, why not just mark the books you can use on your Reader, then define a Restriction, and you'll never see the non-Reader books again (until you get a new reader that can read them.) Why bother to remove them? Last edited by Starson17; 06-07-2010 at 05:43 PM. |
