txt-Dateien auf dem PB 302
Hallo,
ich habe mein PB 302 jetzt schon zwei Wochen und bin auch ziemlich begeistert. Ich habe allerdings folgendes Problem: Wenn ich eine Txt-Datei, die auf dem Rechner (Mac OS 10.5) fehlerlos dargestellt wird, auf mein PB 302 kopiere, werden auf dem PB Sonderzeichen nicht mehr korrekt dargestellt. Kennt jemand das Problem und hat vielleicht einen Tip für mich? Danke Winkkatze |

Es liegt definitiv an der Kodierung, MacRoman hat über 128 seine eigene Systematik (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macintosh_Roman). Ich kenne das Problem auch nur von der anderen Seite (Mac-Dateien übernehmen und weiterverarbeiten), kann mich aber noch daran erinnern, dass es mit Dateien, die als RTF gespeichert wurden, meist problemlos lief - und die liest PB genauso.

Soweit ich weiss, speichert MAC die Zeichen im Datenfluss (bei txt dateien auf MAC), anstatt am Datenende. Mich würde es sehr wundern, wenn das richtig dargestellt werden würde.

Meinst Du damit, mit einer Windows-txt-Datei passiert es Deiner Meinung nach nicht?
Das könnte ich auch mal versuchen, auf Parallels |

Ja das meine ich, windows speichert den text in seinen txt dateien anders als wenn man auf einem mac eine txt datei speichert.

Die Kodierung ist nicht das Problem, nur die Art wo der Datenstrom gespeichert wird. (Beziehe mich damit auf einen Artikel in der letzten c't, stand im Kundensupport, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere)

Ich kann es leider im Moment nicht testen, weil ich erst Parallels neu installieren muss. Ich werde aber Bescheid geben, sobald ich dazu gekommen bin.

Wenn Du nicht immer extra in XP gehen willst, könntest Du auch mal SubEthaEdit ausprobieren - im "Format"-Menü kann man da die Dateikodierung in alles Mögliche ändern, inklusive UTF-8 und ISO- und Windows-Latin. (Wenn das Programm fragt, ob es neu interpretieren oder Konvertieren soll, "konvertieren" wählen.) Habe leider noch kein PB, deswegen kann ich Dir nicht sagen, welches Encoding passt.
Du müsstest auch - wie schon erwähnt, in TextEdit als RTF speichern können. |
