Resizing PDF books

I'm sorry if I duplicated a thread, but I'm having trouble with my JBL that I just got today in the mail. Great resolution pitch and everything, but I hate the way it scrolls. Apparently there's a program called PDFRead that will crop the pages for me, but I've been having issues with the Python Image Library. Maybe I'm better off just booting into Windows instead and use the simple .exe program. Is there a better alternative for the Mac? Or should I just give up and go Windows?

I JUST figured it out. I have python 2.5 and 2.6 installed on OSX. The PIL gets installed in 2.6 for some reason and not 2.5. Does PDFRead v5 work in python 2.6?

Also... what is the JBL's profile in PDFRead v5?

For some reason, I'm getting this error...

Apparently it's caused by the PIL, despite adding things to $PYTHONPATH

You might want to find an Apple or Mac forum for these questions.
