HTML to Epub conversion dosn`t work because special characters
Hello,
storing the site http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_d%E2%80%99If and converting to epub with Calibre doesn´t work, all pics are missing. I testet storing the site with Chrome, Firefox and IE - nothing worked well. In my opinion there is a problem with the characters of the pic-dir: "Château_d’If-Dateien". Other sites without secial characters work well. Dieter |

How are you "storing" the site?
If you have the site stored locally does the site work if you run it off of the hard drive while disconnected from the internet? It could be the image links still grab images off of the internet. Good Luck. |

Of course - I´m storing the Wikipedia site "complete".
Lokally opening the stored HTML works well with all pics (cutting off the internet I have to test). All needed png and jpg are placed in the pic directory. But I´m shure, the problem is with the special characters in the directory name. Does converting the link work for you; stored with wich browser? Dieter |
