More phones with E Ink

I'm kinda surprised this news hasn't been picked up in the week past but oh well.

The Motorola F3 has been out for a while, and now two more phones with E Ink screens has been announced.
Quote:
The Hitachi W61H phone was the first of these product releases, featuring a secondary display utilizing E Ink Vizplex display on the external surface of the phone. Famous Japanese designer SeKiYuRiO created the Hitachi W61H to resemble a perfume bottle. The 2.7” diagonal E Ink display scrolls through 96 different images in a stylish animation and is activated when a call or message is received, or when the clamshell phone is opened for use. The W61H comes in several colors and display styles and is serviced by KDDI (au).

The Casio Model G’zOne will be launched this summer and is also serviced by KDDI (au). It will also feature E Ink’s Vizplex display as a secondary “Silhouette display”. Design details will be unveiled by Casio on their website.

I've read the news last week, but am not very excited about it. I mean, it's nice that they use e-ink for the secondary screen, but the primary screen still uses a LCD. I'll stay with my Motofone F3 for now, until there's an affordable phone with e-ink that usable for reading (the Readius will probably be way to expensive).

Actually this seems like the most ideal solution at present. The LCD lets this phone fulfill the consumers' demand for multimedia, while the eInk display makes it easier to see who's calling while you're out in bright daylight.
