I know I am being a pest but does anybody know whether it is possible to awake a 505 from standby with a remapped button?
Any help greatly appreciated thanks, kaas |

Ok, flashed my reader and modified the following file:
G:\files.505.1.1.00.18040\opt\sony\ebook\applicati on\resources\applicationStart.xml and changed the volume buttons to the following: <boolean key="0x41" do="doSleep" /> <boolean key="0x41-hold" do="doSuspend" /> <boolean key="0x40" do="doWakeup" /> <boolean key="0x40-hold" do="doResume" /> while I notice a refresh pressing the volume plus button longer, nothing happens on volume down. What do you think? cheers, kaas |

well,
I thought so, but the bloody thing doesn't even thinks about taking a nap on command... since i was stupid and switched it off completely, I could not test the wakeup function now that I have restarted it again, I need just wait untill it sleeps for the experiment to continue... cheers, kaas |
