HD+ Problems with Popular Mechanics magazine?
Has anybody else started seeing problems with Popular Mechanics magazine stopping the reader app after just a few pages?
Original HD+ running stock 2.1.0 I've not had this problem in the past, so I'm guessing it's the new software version. Thanks! |

I don't get PM, but I do get Model Airplane News and Maximum PC. I've had no problems with either of them. Before the update I was having problems viewing PDF magazines with the stock reader. Now after the update, even that is working OK--a little slow sometimes with some of the larger PDFs.

Kevin,
I get Reader's Digest, Maximum PC, and Popular Science in addition to PopMech... Only PopMech has the problem. Additionally, PopMech is the only "enhanced" mag I get. If that's the correct term. Meaning that it isn't just a digital version of the print edition. It has scrolling sections on the pages, pop-up windows with more details or pics and IIRC video (links?). Charles |
