Should Jinke open up the v2 now?
Hi all
From the sounds of things, the two main impediments to the v2 shipping are a lack of partners for Jinke, and the fact that the software is not ready. Perhaps we should hang together and suggest to Jinke that they should open up what they have in terms of software, start selling the hardware, and let the reader develop a community-driven Linux distro. That way they could get the software done for them at little cost, and us e-book enthusiasts could get a true open e-book platform (I'd love fbreader and evince!). Or have I just drunk too many margeritas today? |
