pda.mobiletopsoft.com - Mobile web sites and news feeds directory
hello,
i've started a mobile friendly web sites directory at pda.mobiletopsoft.com ,everything is still in developement currently there are about 1000 sites and about 200 rss feeds available to read thru the web based reader ! (very usefull for me ) but the best comes when you fill up the simple registration form and login, then the sites becomes great home page with this ability to store favourites and other personal information on the screen available on one click movement. please send me your feedbacks about the functionality , because its all in beta testing i need some recommendations. thanks in advance ! the mobile web site is an extension of our fast growing pocket pc software archive |

hello again,
As we continue to develope our pda friendly portal, we have added more than 150 new RSS feeds available to read at http://pda.mobiletopsoft.com now you can also load your personal RSS feed and read it directly thru our web based mobile feed reader. since everything is still in in beta mode we will really appreciate if you can send us your user experience and report any problems at pda@mobiletopsoft.com thanks for the support. |

Sheitan,
Just popped over to your site and noticed it looked very familiar to me. Isn't this a new incarnation of the PDA Portal site that was sold a few months back?! I was hoping that it would be maintained and allowed to grow as it did look like a good basis for something interesting. Am curious what your plans are for the site. You mentioned the PPC software archive, for example. Any plans to include the PalmOS software side also? Are those just links, or do you keep versions of the sw? How are you able to support the site financially? What do you hope to achieve with the site? Good luck to you. We are always very happy to see someone working towards providing consolidated information for mobile devices in a useful way. |

I cant say "incarnation", it would be more like next generation pda portal, with more interactive features, better mobile search engine, stock quotes archive, news section and of cource the software archive. Thats just plans of cource
We are still working on most of the topics but the mobile sites archive and the RSS feed reader are working quite good already (still in test mode). When we say pda related site we mean all kind of mobile devices ! not just pocket pc's , but Palm OS and Symbian too. Currently the software archive is catching only the windows mobile based apps, but we are working on the palm and symbian ones. Those archives are only available at the main web site http://www.mobiletopsoft.com for now, but when they're ready - will be ported for mobiles for sure ! We've got strong relations with some of the most popular software developers so all the applications will be updated regularly and the customers will have the option to order any particular software from at least 2-3 different resellers and that will help them find the best prices on the web. the mobile website will be more information related than commersial. Any1 who is interested in supporting our project will be welcomed. Also if you got other mobile site and want it listed at the pda.mobiletopsoft.com protal just send us an email at pda@mobiletopsoft.com regards. |
