Yes it is, but I guess not all keyboards have a Windows key.
This is the best list of Windows shortcuts I've found ==>> https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/...oard-shortcuts BR |

You may have not realized, viewer preferences and the book list on startup could use dark mode.

But I am not using a dark mode for my Windows colors. I'm using the dark mode provided with CALIBRE_USE_DARK_PALETTE=1. How would I go about changing the color for the scroll bar indicator given that Calibre is not using the system colors?

The 'user_profile.png' icon as used for Authors in the Tag Browser is a bit hard to see in Dark Mode. It's a black silhouette of a head.

@kovid,
In the Editor with nightmode on I've noticed that if you have a few editor tabs open it's no longer very easy to see which is the current active tab because of the lack of contrast. Is there anything that can be done to improve this, or even something I can do myself? |

No, not really, this would basically require overriding how Qt's fusion style draws tabs, which is rather a lot of code.

Could you dynamically modify the Tab Label string on the fly without a lot of code? foo1 foo2 *foo3 foo4 |

That would confuse modified and active. Since * is usually used for the modified indicator.

I committed code to make the font italic for the active tab which should help a bit.
