Kindle 3 bricked by first time Koreader Installation
Please help me. I followed instructions here and jailbreaked my Kindle 3. I then followed the Koreader instructions and installed it in my root directory.
When I launched the app via Kual, it said "starting Koreader" and got stuck on that screen for over 30 minutes. After restarting my kindle it doesnt even display anything anymore. Its a blank white screen even when the LED blinks. |

Update: I spammed the power button out of frustration and I think it triggered a bios refresh or something. I finally escaped the brick for now.
I think the screen was blank because it got stuck on a crashed version of Koreader. In the future I still want to try having Koreader on my kindle. If you guys have any advice on why my Koreader crashed please let me know thanks. |

I haven't saved the log file, but my problem is fixed. There was someone here who posted roughly 2 weeks ago about the same problem.
Apparently the latest stable build of Koreader had problems for the Kindle 3. It got fixed with the latest nightly build. I installed that and now everything is fine. |
