Problem returning to original page after searching in book

Hello, is anybody else having a problem with their Kobo Aura not returning to the original page after conducting a search? I search for a word or phrase within a book and may find ten or twelve entries, but when I want to go back to the page I was on before I started the search I tap the return button but it just goes to the last page I viewed, not the one I started from. Am I doing something wrong?

I always just make a bookmark on the page I want to go back to before doing a search. I don't think there's any way built in to return you to that point once leaving the page. At least I couldn't find one either.

there used to be. the switched the function of the return button. which is utterly stupid. unless they let you keep going back. which they don't.
