Bringt Apple einen eigenen eBook Store?
Neuerdings lässt Apple keinerlei neue eBooks oder eBook Leseapplikationen mehr für den AppStore zu. Begründet wird dass Ganze mit der Gefahr von Copyrightverletzungen.
Ich deute dass mal als "Vorbereitung" für einen eigenen eBook Store. Bei dem Erfolg von Stanza war ja eigentlich klar dass Apple sich dass Geschäft mit den digitalen Büchern nicht entgehen lassen will. |

Ich hatte ja schon früh mit dem Gedanken gespielt, meine eigene eBooks auch im App Store zu bringen. Gut, dass ich mit dieser Entscheidung noch gewartet habe, denn ich gehe auch davon aus, dass Apple eine eigenen eBook Store aufmacht - und ich würde nicht ausschließen, dass die Apps im App Store sich eben nicht 1 zu 1 auf den neuen Store übertragen lassen.
Interessant wird nur, ob Apple die bereits vertriebenen eBook Apps wieder löscht. Das Recht haben sie dazu laut EULA. |

Kann mir kaum vorstellen dass Apple zum Beispiel Stanza löschen würde (hoffe es zumindest). Bei mehr als 2 Millionen Benutzern würde da wohl ein ziemlicher "Beschwerdesturm" auf Apple zukommen. Aber vielleicht lehnen sie ja die Updates ab. Dass wäre mal etwas Neues (hoffentlich liest hier kein Mitarbeiter von Apple Deutschland mit und bringt Steve auf Dumme Ideen ).

Und wie lange sollen sie Updates ablehnen, wenn Apple sich jeder Unterstützung und Erweiterung des "alten" App Stores verwehrt und seine Funktionalität einschränkt. (K.A. wie weit das beim Appstore möglich ist)

Ach nö, Leute, bitte nicht! Die Google Books sind ja sowas von schlecht gemacht. Da kräuseln sich die Zehennägel bei mir hoch (Gut, dass ich Sandalen anhab )
