Tirwal Firmware
Could someone point me to a manual for Tirwal firmware?
I visited few spanish website with what seems like lots of information but it all over the place and i'm very confused. I just installed Tirwal3.2-180211 and i love it, but i'd like to know how it works as i want to tweak some things. How to: triple boot - how do i switch between them? File association - i only use FB2 and EPUB can i make it so both are open with CR? Thank you for all work you've done Tirwal. PS. when i update it says version 1.0.5 2008-03-21 I understand its version of original Halin firmware, do i need to update it as well? |

triple boot:
just copy the "config" to the root of your SD card run one of the EXE then turn off and on check Tirwal's manual from: http://translate.google.es/translate...ad.php%3F2712-[FIRMWARE]-Tirwal-2-81-TRIPLE-BOOT-ADDONS&sl=es&tl=en |

I have BeBook One (V3ext) 2009 issue, Kernel2.6.11.7, Firmware v2.11NL.090910.
Is there some reason I am unable to update to Tirwal's firmware/software ver3.2? I am using 500MB SD card I used previously for firmware update with a success. If I try to update to Tirwal's V3update.bin it just hangs there with nothing happening. The firmvare doesn't change inside BeBook. If I try to use Tirwal's config folder (on another SD card with books) and choose any of three exe files, again it just hangs there with blinking LED and busy sign in the middle for ever. It would be a shame to fail here as Tirwal's version is highly regarded in BeBook community. |

Are you using it on a 3+. I am not sure they have a version for the 3+. It is distinct from the V3 or V5.

Once this is done, you may choose to run one of the three scripts in the config directory; after rebooting the reader, you can test the mode you just chose. |
