Time limit on unread?

Is there a time limit on the unread marking? I just found a posting I had not read and I thought I read nearly all thing by searching for unread.

There is not a time limit on unread that I have ever found.

Sometimes when the forums are reorganized there may be some threads that you have read that are now marked as unread. (I have seen this on other forums and have not checked it on MobileRead.)

I wondered the same... I've seen today the IMP forum was marked as read, and I never went into that forum. Yesterday it was marked with unread threads.

There is only one limit: all threads without posts for more than 14 days will be automatically considered as read. Since we keep track of the reading status of each post for each user, we have to use this limit to avoid running into performance issues.
