10,000 e-books. Yes, you hear that right!
We're practically falling all over ourselves to announce that this week we passed the magic 10,000 uploads mark in our e-book section. Yeah that's right, 10,000 e-book uploads in less than two years. This community is just that crazy!
My utmost respect for all the volunteers who have participated in this massive effort. Thanks to your meticulous efforts we have now some of the most outstanding literary works of human history ready for everyone's consumption on his or her favorite e-book device. Please join me in a round of applause. ........... ................ ........... |

Hello, My name is Susan and I'm new at all of this after receiving my Kindle 2. Is there a way to download any of these books for free and if so, how is this accomplished. I would appreciate any and all help from anyone. Susan :-) |

You can download books from this site using the Kindle's wireless feature, see this thread... https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25268 ...or you can download them to your computer (choose Mobipocket format) and transfer them by USB, see here. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/ebo...&sort=dateline |

Everyone!
To all the uploaders who take the time to make the resulting format the best for our specific reader. To all those who notice slight errors or with ideas to make it better. Again to the uploaders who go back with changes/versions for us. Thanks for the friendly and informative site that makes it possible for those of us who are "tech challenged" to learn to enjoy and appreciate our various readers. Without this site, I'm sure my reader would have eventually been set down (once the newness had worn off) and not been utilized as much. |
