II --- Linux image issue
Hi all!
I got a kobo TOUCH 2. As I would like to set a Linux, and more specifically in the end get a linux terminal on it for a project. By reading numerous threads on this website I got a version (Kobo_Touch2_N587.img) which is supposed to work for this model but unfortunatly nothing happend when I turn it on, get a black screen and the red LED sitll remains on... I flashed the img with a classical 'dd' command line and all the directories are visibles. If I put the original SD card again the eReader works fine. So I am totally stuck and do not know what to do next, if anyone has some tips they are welcome Thanks Johann |

BTW, if the image you create from your µSD card works on a new µSD card, could you please do a factory reset to wipe any personal information, make an image of that factory reset card and make it available to me. |
