Help - 45 unhandled exceptions
Hi. Unsure what happened here - Win 11 / Calibre 7.17; started the app alongside my mindmapper - Freeplane. When I went to the Calibre window I had 45 unhandled exception errors, all variations on the version below; plus one Error communicating with device error (I also had a samsung tablet on USB). Restarted Calibre without a repeat of the errors.
Any suggestions as to whether I need to worry about anything? -----unhandled exception----- ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>WPDError</b>:C:\r\src\src\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\conten t_enumeration.cpp:337:Failed to EnumObjects() of folder from device:[hr=0x802a0002 wCode=0] Shutdown was already called on this object or the object that owns it.: o9 calibre 7.17 embedded-python: True Windows-10-10.0.22631-SP0 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '10', '10.0.22631') Python 3.11.5 Windows: ('10', '10.0.22631', 'SP0', 'Multiprocessor Free') Interface language: None EXE path: C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre.exe Successfully initialized third party plugins: Gather KFX-ZIP (from KFX Input) (2, 15, 0) && DeDRM (7, 2, 1) && Package KFX (from KFX Input) (2, 15, 0) && Find Duplicates (1, 10, 9) && Job Spy (1, 0, 239) && KFX metadata reader (from KFX Input) (2, 15, 0) && From KFX (2, 15, 0) && KFX Input (2, 15, 0) wpd.WPDError: C:\r\src\src\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\content_e numeration.cpp:337:Failed to EnumObjects() of folder from device:[hr=0x802a0002 wCode=0] Shutdown was already called on this object or the object that owns it.: o9 -----comms error----- ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device C:\r\src\src\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\content_e numeration.cpp:337:Failed to EnumObjects() of folder from device:[hr=0x802a0002 wCode=0] Shutdown was already called on this object or the object that owns it.: s20001 Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 112, in run File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 566, in _books File "calibre\devices\mtp\driver.py", line 267, in books File "calibre\devices\mtp\driver.py", line 240, in get_driveinfo File "calibre\devices\mtp\windows\driver.py", line 273, in filesystem_cache wpd.WPDError: C:\r\src\src\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\content_e numeration.cpp:337:Failed to EnumObjects() of folder from device:[hr=0x802a0002 wCode=0] Shutdown was already called on this object or the object that owns it.: s20001 |

No those are transient errors probably caused by the device cable getting loose at just the wrong moment.
