shows up as costing $2.00 for me instead of free

Some of these are no longer free. Just double check the price before you click "Buy".

Shows up for $2 a book for me as well so no good for Aussies, though a good price for a book anyway.

I think that for those that are not in the US are going to be paying the $2 surcharge for all the books anyhow...

Yes, the indexes are messed up at Amazon and formerly free books show up in the search weeks later. And at least one showed up for a week solid before it was actually made free (which tells me it was momentarily free, by mistake, then went back up and the index stayed stuck; eventually it went back to free). They did manage to remove 5 of the non-free ones from the list today, but many still remain.
