Preview window retrieval
I usually run with the (floating) Preview window on an old 768x1024 monitor (portrait).
It died after 21 years  I can't figure how to get that to move back to a working screen since I can't give it focus to use alt+space-m. Ver 7.17.101 Where is the position stored? or is there a keystroke to shift focus so the normal move a window works. |

Probably tweak_book_gui.json
What happens if you uncheck Preview in the View menu, restart the editor and check Preview. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 09-12-2024 at 07:02 PM. |

That is a way better guess.
 I was looking at edit-book-dynamic I can see the names of my newer monitors (Acer G215HV, LG Full HD) many times??? But the small one is just a (2001 era) VGA, so no name . I guess I will hope Kovid will chime in BTW I did try removing the tick trick. Good call, but no joy |
