Cover:false false positives

I have some books that the search "cover:false" thinks don't have a cover, but they really do. There is a cover.jpg in the book folder and it is referenced in metadata.opf and the file in the epub has been marked as the cover page. Browsing through the library shows the cover in the preview pane.

Any ideas of how to clean this up?

What does the cover Look Like?
Is it a Calibre Generated one (it will have words on it)?
IIRC a missing cover will just show as a Blank version of the Calibre one in the details pane as it does not really have that file.

The other possibility is someone has been doing stuff beneath the skirts, therefor Calibre is not aware of ANY kind of change.
Run the full Library Maintenance and resolve those issues found.

Well "Library Maintenance" did the trick for those covers not in the data base. But it uncovered a number of other errors that will likely take the weekend to clear up.
