eReader with folder structure

I am looking to upgrade my Kobo Libra H2O.

I desperately need an eReader that can show the ebooks in a folder structure (i.e. Windows). It also needs to support ePub and be able to transfer files like the Kobo does (so no Kindle if I understand correctly?).

What eReaders support this?
I was hoping to spend no more than 200-250€ if possible.

If you are not afraid of installing Koreader, any supported eReader would work fine.

If you really need the directory structure, you can easily install KOReader on a Kobo.

Your existing Kobo can do this with KOReader. Simple to install.

However folder structure is pointless for epubs.

Check PocketBook. The books there can be organized into folders. Although, it does not have Windows.

Because it's text order.
You'd need 001, 002 ... 017, 214 etc.

If you import the books to your ereader with calibre I think it will put them into a seperate folder per author's name

Depends on the template used to send the books to the device.

It is a rather bad idea to use the default calibre template as you'll end up with a lot of empty directories.

Not if you only delete books via Calibre, not on the device.
