The "deal of the week" is for Sony Rewards members. I checked again, the current Deal is $199.00 for the PRS-500. Items are offered "while supplies last", and as of 20 seconds ago, there were 87 left.

Do you mean I should go to the site and set up an account? I already did. The price on the Sony Reader is still $249.

Anyone here honest enough to pay for one that I am willing to buy for them?

Still, nothing beats that super sweet $50 deal a while back.

Yes, the retail price is $249. Wait, $349.00 apparently. Weird. In any case the "Deal of the Week" price is $199.00. The site is a flashed-based site, so any hyperlink posted would only take you to the main page. You have to navigate to the "Deal of the Week" link, which shows you the "deal" price, and how many are left in the deal.
