N437 maximally bricked?

Hello world,

I have a Glo HD N437 that, while installing the last update later than required a few months ago, scrambled its screen and hasn't been responsive since. Just today I finally got to trying to repair it. I successfully wrote the factory disk image to a new SD card, but no results.

Here is the current status:
- the device has been on the charger overnight (the device did get slightly warm in the beginning, so it seems the charging circuit is working)
- held down the power button for 10+ seconds with no results
- held down the reset button with a pin for 10+ seconds with no results
- screen still scrambled

Is my device totally dedded?

Thx!
